Ampacimon has the ability to offer a minimum of four different solutions for system deployment :
- Shared cloud server
- Private cloud server
- Dedicated On-Premise single server
- Dedicated On-Premise server with redundancy
We have indeed experimented and successfully implemented all the above different configurations and therefore adapted to the utilities preferred requirements. We do not just claim to be able to successfully implement our solutions within the utilities preferred architecture : we have proven references.
As examples, RTE, the TSO in France uses a private cloud server. PPL in the USA, UTE in Uruguay, EMS in Serbia use an On-Premise server. Elia also uses an On-Premise solution, with the particularity of also having a redundant server. Such experience gained by Ampacimon allowed us to be awarded the RFQ from Hydro-Québec for a similar complex architecture to Elia's.
Eventually, we have more than 20 references of utilities using our DLR/AAR/Facility Rating solutions on Shared cloud.
Our application runs on virtual machines using either Windows or Linux OS. We also support active-passive failover. We have a three-tiered architecture with web/frontend, app/ backend, and databases. Databases are separated and utilize the providers best practices for fault tolerance and failover.
Alternatively, a cloud-based server can be deployed with a typical architecture.
